Hermesh is a short metroidvania game where you play as a reaper apprentice, who harvests escaped souls from possessed ducks to gain new abilities and access to new areas.
We had so much fun doing the previous ludum dares: LD51 Rando Bots, LD50 Chicken Dinner.
That we became a team.
This jam’s theme was: Harvest. This time we took the challenge to try a new genre, and while we can definitely improve on that, we were surprisingly happy with the results. The exploration and power-ups work well together. It also was fun creating this crazy world with possessed ducks and mentor cats.
